The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Senior Brand Manager with the coordination leverage needed among the brands, and the market to ensure proper marketing strategy implementation. He/She is also responsible for executing marketing plans, coordinating with internal and external service functions, and submitting reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in Marketing. Experience in a distribution company is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English. French is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Understanding of social and digital trends in the market.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business.
• Creative thinking and analytical mind.
1. Promotional Plan Execution:
• Ensure the timely execution of the promotional plan in coordination with the Senior Brand Manager.
• Ensure each activation’s details by the door and the availability of all promo plan elements in coordination with the Trade Marketer, the Sales Team and the Decoration Team to ensure successful execution.
• Follow-up on the promo plan based on the monthly rolling forecast in coordination with the Senior Brand Manager and the Sales Team.
• Ensure coordination between warehouses, Senior Brand Manager, and the Sales Team to deploy the promotion on time, and report any deficiencies.
• Check stock availability for promotions and report out of stock situations to Senior Brand Manager and the Supply Chain department.
2. Reporting:
• Prepare reports (executed activations, promo performance, promo follow-up and volume, value evolution, etc.) to give different stakeholders visibility on the monthly targets.
• Collect data on parallel and smuggled products from the Sales Team and submit the report to the Senior Brand Manager.
• Ensure on-going follow-up of competitive size and price reports by brand in addition to any competitive initiative.
• Analyze the sell outs reports by category and recommend on YTG plans.
3. Sales and Marketing Coordination:
• Help in setting monthly targets for Sales Representatives based on the approved OB in coordination with the National Sales Manager and the Senior Brand Manager.
• Coordinate and follow-up with the Sales Team to assess their performance in comparison with preset targets for regular and promotional products.
• Monitor remaining offers and close-to-expiry goods with the Supply Chain department, and coordinate with the Sales Team to liquidate them.
• Assist the Senior Brand Manager in brand orders with the Demand Planning Unit.
• Follow-up on delivered goods to ensure they are compatible with placed orders.
• Support in the preparation of the budget review presentations (size and price tables, Statex analysis by major competitor, SOM SOV tables).
4. Digital, E-commerce Website and Social Media Platforms:
• Coordinate with the Senior Brand Manager, e-commerce team and online platforms to guarantee clear, updated, and impactful visibility online.
• Plan and execute online and social media strategies and campaigns within the allocated budgets.
• Plan and implement social media content calendar on HOLDAL’s social media account.
• Monitor competition brands and influencers online activities to identify and plan differentiated opportunities of collaborations.
• Identify potential influencers and prepare all needed assets for product seeding.
