Launched during the Lebanon Works @ Work event, the GovX Hub aims to reimagine governance in Lebanon through digital innovation and artificial intelligence. The breakout session convened H.E. Minister of State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Shehadi, members of Parliament from the IT Committee, key ministries, private sector leaders, and international agencies.

Discussions focused on four strategic priorities shaping the future of digital public services in Lebanon:

• - Developing an AI Factory capable of autonomously designing, testing, and deploying government digital services.  
• - Establishing the GovX Hub on the Lebanon Works platform as the national coordination space for digital transformation and AI initiatives.
• - Designing a national Technology Fund to support AI adoption, industrial modernization, and the growth of Lebanon’s tech ecosystem.
• - Mapping the State of AI in Lebanon to assess current capacities, identify key gaps, and guide future development.

The session concluded with the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of State for IT and AI and the Lebanese Private Sector Network, solidifying their partnership to advance these priorities through the Lebanon Works platform.

The GovX Hub will serve as a cross-sector engine for digital governance, connecting innovators, institutions, and investors to accelerate Lebanon’s digital future.
