The Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) is a Lebanese NGO dedicated to restoring ecosystems, enhancing climate resilience, and promoting sustainable agriculture and land management. Through innovation, advocacy, and community engagement, LRI empowers local communities—especially women and youth—to lead environmental and socio-economic change.
LRI is seeking a Business Development Specialist to lead the development and implementation of business development strategies for its rural tourism initiatives, including EcoGrow and the centers in Ehmej and Kaftoun, while expanding private sector partnerships in reforestation, fire prevention, forest management, agroforestry, and urban forestry.
The Business Development Specialist will report directly to the Director and collaborate closely with all LRI departments to drive strategic growth and partnerships.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is an asset).
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Experience in donor communications, including opportunity identification, concept note development, and proposal writing.
- Strong budgeting and logical framework (logframe) development skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Strong marketing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, or capacity building is an asset.
- Excellent planning, monitoring, and organizational skills.
- High level of computer proficiency.
- Ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders effectively.

- Develop and implement a business development plan for LRI's rural tourism initiatives, including EcoGrow and the Ehmej and Kaftoun centers.
- Design partnership packages tailored to private sector companies to strengthen collaboration with LRI.
- Identify, map, and assess potential private sector partners.
- Build relationships with prospective partners and secure long-term partnership agreements.
- Conduct market research to identify national and international funding opportunities, donor priorities, funding trends, and engagement modalities.
- Research and identify new market opportunities to support organizational growth.
- Contribute to business growth strategies aligned with LRI's environmental and livelihood objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support business development initiatives and partnership opportunities.
